Gary Hall provided complete engineering services for this ten‑bus, off-street transfer station for Ben Franklin Transit.  Responsibilities included genera­tion of five conceptual alternatives, presentation to City Planning Commis­sion, obtaining site plan approval from the City of Richland, presentation to BFT staff, Capital Facilities Committee, and Board of Directors, preliminary and final design, bidding documents preparation, and construction inspection and contract administration.  The low bid for the project was less than two percent under the engineer's estimate and the final construction cost was less than the bid amount.  Board members, staff, and the public have all expressed satisfaction with the project.
